Testing With a Purpose
Your clinician will explain which tests may help, why, and what they cost before you decide.
| Test or tool | What you could learn | Estimated additional cost |
|---|---|---|
| Foundational bloodwork Foundational | Check hormone and metabolic markers to help identify what needs attention in your care plan. | Approximately $300 for intake labs |
Learn more about foundational bloodworkBlood tests help evaluate hormone and metabolic health and check for other possible contributors to symptoms. Depending on your history, testing may assess androgens such as testosterone, blood sugar, cholesterol, or thyroid function. Results help your clinician decide what needs attention and which treatment or follow-up options to discuss. The approximately $300 estimate is for intake labs; actual charges depend on the tests ordered and the laboratory, and your expected cost will be confirmed before purchase. Follow-up bloodwork may cost extra. | ||
| Mira hormone tracking Optional tool | See hormone changes across your cycle to better understand irregular periods and ovulation patterns. | Approximately $189 for the starter package with Meadow’s discount |
Learn more about Mira hormone trackingAt-home urine testing tracks hormones involved in your menstrual cycle. It may be useful when periods are unpredictable or you want to better understand patterns around ovulation. Reviewing changes across your cycle can help your clinician discuss whether further evaluation or a change in your care plan makes sense. It does not diagnose PCOS/PMOS or guarantee pregnancy. The starter package does not necessarily cover ongoing testing wands, and additional testing wands may cost extra. Your clinician will explain the expected testing duration and recurring costs before purchase. | ||
| Stelo continuous glucose monitor (CGM) Optional tool | See how meals and movement affect your glucose patterns to guide everyday choices. | Approximately $89–$99/month |
Learn more about the Stelo continuous glucose monitorA small wearable sensor shows glucose trends throughout the day and night. It can help you see how meals and activity relate to those trends. You and your clinician can use the information to discuss practical changes to meal composition, timing, and movement. A CGM does not directly measure insulin resistance or replace diagnostic blood tests. Your clinician will discuss whether this device is appropriate and how long tracking may be useful. Total cost depends on the purchase option and duration of use. | ||
| DUTCH hormone testing Specialty test | Take a closer look at how your body processes certain hormones, plus cortisol patterns throughout the day. | Approximately $300 |
Learn more about DUTCH hormone testingAn at-home dried-urine test measures certain sex hormones, the substances produced as your body breaks them down, and cortisol patterns across the day. It offers additional detail about hormone processing when your clinician has a specific question beyond the initial evaluation. Results are considered alongside your symptoms and other tests to decide whether further evaluation is useful. It does not establish the cause of symptoms on its own or replace standard hormone testing. The exact measurements depend on the panel ordered. | ||
| GI-MAP stool testing Specialty test | Explore selected gut microbes and digestion markers when persistent digestive symptoms need investigation. | Approximately $327 |
Learn more about GI-MAP stool testingAn at-home stool test looks for selected microbes and markers related to digestion and intestinal inflammation. It may be discussed when ongoing bloating, diarrhea, or other digestive symptoms need further evaluation. Findings may prompt confirmatory testing or referral. Detecting a microbe does not necessarily mean it is causing symptoms or needs treatment. Researchers are studying connections between gut microbes and skin conditions such as acne, but this test cannot establish why someone has acne. It also has accuracy and interpretation limitations; your clinician should explain whether it or a more targeted stool test best answers the clinical question. | ||
| 3X4 Genetics Specialty test | Explore inherited traits related to nutrient processing and exercise response to inform wellness discussions. | Approximately $299 |
Learn more about 3X4 GeneticsA cheek-swab DNA test reports genetic variations related to areas such as nutrient processing and exercise response. Your clinician may use the results as an additional discussion tool alongside your health history and current habits. Genetic traits are only one part of the picture. This test does not diagnose PCOS/PMOS, identify a perfect diet, or guarantee that a particular nutrition or exercise plan will work better. | ||
Planning estimates only; actual prices may vary. Testing and devices are separate from the program fee. Refills, replacement sensors, repeat testing, shipping, and other charges may be additional. Your expected cost will be confirmed before purchase.
Recommendations depend on your individual needs. Not everyone needs every test.
Why we don't bundle in a testing allowance
Because testing needs vary, testing costs are separate rather than bundled into a standard allowance. Your clinician recommends testing only when it adds real clinical value for you.
The planned program fee covers clinical evaluation, interpretation, individualized guidance, and follow-up. Separate costs will be explained before you authorize them.
